Importance of Not Smoking In or Near your Unit
Why can't I smoke in or near my unit?
- IT IS ILLEGAL. It's illegal to smoke within 20 feet of any public buildings door/window.
- It causes SERIOUS damage to the unit.
- It's inconsiderate of other tenants in the building.
- Some people are allergic to smoke.
- It is a fire hazard
- It is grounds for eviction
- Everyone has a right to live smoke free
